Cherries are delicious. And cherry jam or jelly is always a favorite. I know it is in our house. So I’m gathering cherries while they’re here. And I’m doing them down for all I’m worth. I love to treat the family to the joys of cherry jam or jelly later on ...in the bleak and unfriendly winter months. And I don’t like disappointments about the set of the jam or jelly, or the flavor. That’s why I always do downr • . -.a Z> z.. way x uj.wu.ys uo uownmy fruit with CERTO FRUIT PECTIN. There’s really no use taking a chance of wasting all that glorious flavor and color! Your Salads Can’t Fail to be good this summer... with a wealth of wonder ful vegetables from your garden or the market — plus mar velous MIRACLE WHIP Salad Dress ing. It’s the only salad dressing I know that combines the satiny texture of mayonnaise with the tang of old- fashioned boiled dressing. You’ll love its flavour—lively yet delicate ' ... (perfect with crisp, crunchy lettuce leaves and baby onions!). , Miracle Whip is made from a secret recipe known only to Kraft. It can’t be copied, but the de licious result can be bought — at your grocer’s now. Ask for Miracle Whip! The Thermometer Says “JFarm” Today, but it’s as good a day as any for buying fuel for the cold days of the year. I’ll never wait ’til Fall again to get in our winter’s f coal. There arc too many good reasons for buying it right now. It’s usually cheaper and a full bin Vj takes a big load off your mind. And worry about the “coal problem” won’t have a chance to sour your summer holidays. So I’ll just handle it as I did last year. I’ll sec the BANK OF MONTREAL about a coal loan, stock up my coal bin with a full winter’s supply, and pay back the loan in as many as nine instalments. It’s really worth your while to investigate. Why don’t you discuss ways and means with the manager of your nearest B of M branch today. kraft IE *5 X||||||| PREDICTS TRUCE — Lester B.
