Air Special Deliveryl" Celebrates Eightieth Birthday Mr. Hugh Norris, Chiselhurst, Was pleasantly surprised last Sunday when members of his family and relatives numbering 40 gathered at liis home to honor him oil the occasion of his eightieth birthday. He was pre sented with numerous lovely gifts including a birthday cake topped with 80 candles, made by his daughter, Mrs. William Par ker, of Hensall. The Rev. Heimrich officiated, Mrs. John Turkheim, Zurich, was organist, .and accompanied the soloist, Miss Vera Holtz, Kit chener. The bride chose a '"gown of white double net over taffeta featuring an overskirt and bodice of French lace over taffeta with net inset, a stand-up collar and long sleeves tapering to points. A sweetheart headdress of net and satin held her fingertip veil of silk illusion and she carried a white prayer book with a cas cade of blue carnations. Attendants were dressed alike in gowns of twilight blue net and lace over taffeta with boleros, matching headdresses and bouquets of white carna tions. Miss Marjory Klopp was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Deickert and Miss Marilyn Haberer, All of Zurich. Best man was Ronald G. Heim rich and ushers were John Haberer and Herbert Klopp, all of Zurich. The bride’s mother chose a powder blue crepe dress with navy accessories and a corsage of white carnations for the re ception at the church. Throughout the afternoon sports were enjoyed under the capable leadership of Mrs. Dick Cornish, of Goderich, and Mrs. W. J. Good, of Auburn. The more interesting of these were balloon busting and a life-saver relay race. The president, Mr. Norman Stanlake, Exeter, was chairman for the election of officers.
