HOWE VISITS CENTRALIA — Minister of Trade and Commerce, Hon. C. D. Howe visit
ed R.C.A.F. Station Centralia Thursday, prior, to addressing the Perth County Federation of
Agriculture banquet at Mitchell. Mr. Howe flew into the station in his Lode Star aircraft
and was conducted on a tour around the station. On hand to meet him were Frank Allen,
\varden of Perth; J. N. Corry, Perth MP; W/C M. Michalski, acting commanding officer
of Centralia; Filmer Chappel, Perth Federation director; Arthur Robinson, Mitchell councillor.
