Dr. Thomas George Thompson Dr. Thomas George Thomp­ son, who many years ago was a ■Lucan dentist, passed away in Vancouver at the age of 82. He practised in Toronto and Lucan, moving to British Columbia 39 years ago. He was a graduate of the College of Dentistry of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons Ontario, He was a charter member the Native Sons of Canada, former elder of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, past mas­ ter of Irving Lodge No. 120 A.F. and A.M. and a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of North Vancouver. The fol­ lowing eleven members of the Lucan Hostess Club attended: Rose Revington, Laverne George, Audrey Whitehead, Margaret Neil, Loreen Hodgins, Dallas Hodgins, Beth Hodgins, Marlene Revington, Beth Watson, Shei- lagh Ewen and Helen Hardy. Each girl received a silver spoon and Helen Hardy a certi­ ficate for having completed two courses. The leader, Mrs. Frank Hovey, received two spoons and her assistant, Mrs. H. B. Morgan, who passed away in Victoria Hospital, London, on Thursday, January 22, in her sixty-eighth year, were held in the Murdy Funeral Home on Saturday, January 24, at 2:30 p.m., with interment in St. James’ Cemetery, Clandeboye. Rev. G. Parker of Ailsa Craig, officiated. The pallbearers were John, Merton, Laverne and Joe Douglas, Morgan and William Elson. Mrs. Morgan, daughter of the late was her W. 1 last vray.
