nized Saturday afternoon, De
cember 13 at Egerton St. Bap
tist parsonage, London, Marjorie
Mabel Chute became the bride
of Wilfred Robotham. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Melvin Chute, London, and the
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. David Robotham, Strathroy.
The Rev. F. T. Darnell united
the couple ‘ in marriage. The
bride wore a grey wool suit
which was accented by a winter
wine hat and accessories and
she wore a corsage of ruby-
toned roses. Mr. Chute gave his
daughter in marriage.
Miss Madeline McDonald was
the bride’s only attendant. Ron
ald Chute, the groom’s brother,
was best man.
The reception was ’ held
Palm Grove Restaurant.
They will live in London. Mr.

Mrs1. Frank Hovey reported
the results of inquiries as to the
advisability of planting trees on
the river flats. Owing to havoc
wrought by rats and mice, she
was advised the project was not
feasible at present.
It was drawn to the attention
of the meeting that some of the
trees in front of the arena were
being damaged by children, so
it was decided to purchase a
snow fence to protect them.
Plans were discussed for the
Institute party on January 8.
