HESSELWOOD, BLAKE. Thank
you for all the love, support and
caring that everyone has expressed
to our family during this difficult
time. Your hugs, thoughts, floral
tributes, memorial donations, food,
cards and encouraging words or
funny stories of how Blake touched
your life have been so comforting. A
special thank you to all of our
special family, friends and
neighbours for your many kind acts.
You may not think it was a big deal
but it means so much to us. Blake
touched so many lives. We learned to
share him with others at a very
young age. His caregivers, teachers,
coaches, employers and co-workers,
family members and friends all
helped to mold him into the man that
he had become and we thank you for
that. We are so thankful for all the
great young people that Blake
brought into our hearts for their
friendship to Blake and allowing us
to be part of their lives as well. We
look forward to seeing them
continue to grow into their adult
lives and will be there for them.
Thank you to Falconer Funeral
Homes for their services, guidance
and respecting our wishes. – Ken,
Luann, Taylor and Michelle. 47-1

POWELL. Thank you everyone for
all the prayers, kindness,
compassion, concern, and love
you’ve all shown to our family and
the Hesselwood family in the sudden
loss of our dear Blake Hesselwood
and friend Johnny Bokhout. Thanks
to everyone who sent flowers,
goodies and gifts to the house. We’d
like to thank the staff at Queensway,
Pizza Train and all my families for
their support and understanding.
Thanks to Michelle’s Terry’s Family
Restaurant “family” for the beautiful
angel with the meaningful verse
engraved on the bottom. We have
amazing friends and family who’ve
been there to pick us up and hold us
together when we were unable to do
so. We couldn’t have made it through
this past week without all our friends
and family. Special mention goes to
Kelly Coleman, Nicole Morey,
Roxanne Murray, Joanne Hutton,
Megan McDougall, Brittany Chaput,
Bridget Cronin, just to mention a few,
all of who came running home from
college, travelling hours just to be
here for Michelle, plus all of Blake’s
friends and family! Words cannot
express our gratitude to Nancy
Anstett and Jesslyn Carnochan for all
the empathy they’ve shown to us.
These are wonderful communities to
call home; it just feels like a huge hug
everywhere you go! – The Powell
Family. 47-1

WALKER. We have been
overwhelmed by the outpouring
support and generosity of this
community since the passing of our
dear wife, Mom and Grandma, Jean
Walker. To the Paramedics, Sergeant
Murray Foxton and the Fire Rescue
Unit for your prompt response and
kindness – thank you. To Doug,
Jackie, Amy, Erin and Kate of the
McBurney Funeral Home – your
gracious support, thoughtfulness and
compassion will never be forgotten. It
was greatly appreciated during our
difficult time. For all the food
brought to our homes, the lovely
cards, beautiful floral arrangements,
donations, online condolences, visits,
phone calls, kind words and
remembrances at the visitations and
funeral – thank you. To Bonnie,
Arnold, Donna and Chris – thank you
for the delicious meal you served
between visitations. It was such a
thoughtful gesture. To Barbara Hall

Old Rugged Cross” – thank you. To

will be remembered always. To the
