Well done!
(continued from last week)
(J.C. Ryle, “The Gospel of Mark” 1857)
People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done all things well!” they said.
Mark: 7:37
He will not err in any of His dealings with us.
He will take away and give; He will afflict and bereave; He will move and He will settle,
with... perfect wisdom, at the right time, in the right way.
The great Shepherd of the sheep makes no mistakes! He leads every lamb of His
flock by the right way — to eternal glory.
We shall never see the full beauty of these words, until the resurrection morning. We
shall then look back over our lives, and know the meaning of everything which
happened — from first to last. We shall remember all the way by which we were led —
and confess that “all was well done!”
The why and the wherefore, the causes and the reasons of everything which now
perplexes us — will be as clear and plain as the sun at noon day.
We shall wonder at our own past blindness, and marvel that we could ever have doubted
our Lord’s love!

Newly-minted Blyth BIA to hold meetingThe Blyth Business ImprovementArea (BIA) is getting ready to take
one more step to actualization.
On Dec. 7 at Memorial Hall, the
executive will be appointed or
elected at their inaugural meeting
and, after that, the process ofcreation will be near completion.“We need an executive to start thebank accounts and to set bylaws,” local business owner Rick
Elliott said. “We need to get
them installed and have it
approved by council in
December.”
The meeting will be open to thepublic and anyone who ownscommercial property or runs abusiness on commercial property inBlyth can step forward and
volunteer for a position.
Opportunities will be available for
associate members, or members
outside of the designated area, but
they will be non-voting positions.
Elliott stated that everything will
be on a volunteer basis unless theyhave more volunteers than they canhandle.“If we have more volunteers thanpositions, we’ll have to go to
ballots,” he said.
After the executive is installed,
they will declare a name for the
group, review the bylaws and
constitution and approve for them to
be given to council.

This week, Grade 8 students went
to Central Huron Secondary School
for the annual Tech Day. Students
got to pick two things to do during
the day. They chose from
Hospitality, Transportation,
Manufacturing, Design,
Communications and Construction.
Students were raving about the
great times they had and showing off
their masterpieces that they got to
make like cookies, welding projects
and blueprints for a cottage.
Students who worked in the
communication tech workshop were
featured in the next day’s
announcements at the school.
In the Grade 7/8 class, students
watched the video “Dear 16-year-
old self” which is a YouTube video
on Melanoma Cancer awareness.
They are now working on creating
their own infomercial on something
they feel strongly about. In other

Gary Clark welcomed everyone to
church this First Sunday of Advent.
Rev. Clark reminded everyone of
the announcements printed in the
bulletin. Emily Phillips and Jon
Hakkers lit the first candle “Hope”
in the Advent Wreath.
The first verse of the hymn, “Hope
is a Star” was sung followed by the
call to worship and the prayer of
approach. The scripture reading was
from Matthew 25: 31-46. The
children were asked to come to the
front from their story time. Rev.
Clark explained to them that this
