Back to Church Sunday
The Trinity Anglican Church in Blyth and the St. John’s Anglican Church in Brussels are
celebrating Back to Church Sunday on Sept. 18. The tradition began at Anglican churches
throughout England and Rev. Perry Chuipka, third from right, is now bringing it to the area. The
initiative is meant to encourage members of the congregation to bring their friends and families
who maybe haven’t been to church in a while back to the church in hopes that they will continue
to attend. From left: Shari Cartwright, Jean Nethery, Michelle Nesbitt, Chuipka, Tyler Cartwright
and Brittany Cartwright. (Shawn Loughlin photo)
