On Christmas Day,
We're all so gay,
For there will be presents,
And family reunions all so
pleasant,
Everyone is joyous,
For Christ was born
On that morn,
We go to mass at night,
And then excitedly wait for
morning light,

Christmas is leaving the price
tag on .your all ready wrapped
gifts.
Christmas is giving your kids
money to buy you a gift.
Christmas is trying to wrap a
bicycle without a box to put it
in.
Christmas is signing all your
cards, and envelopes and find
out the cards are too big for
theenvelopes.
Christmas is forgetting to get
your sensitive boss a card,
Christmas is when you say
youvon't get anyone a card and
everyone sends you a card.
Christmas is when the family
room is filled with your kid's
toys and they say "Is that all?"
Christmas. is finding out some
nut put a heavy trunk on all
your breakable decorations from
last year.
Christmas is hanging up a pair
of panty-hose instead of
stockings.
Christmas is Santa Claus.

THE FEELING OF
CHRISTMAS
The feeling of giving,
The feeling of getting,
And the feeling of love.
But what does it mean
If your a hermit or if
Your a tramp, and
Who would know
Certainly not me.
But if I did what
Would it have to do
With me, I would never know.
Christmas has many feelings
But it has only one spirit,
And that is not what you
Feel, but what you think.

Christmas to me means
happieness when nobody is sad
or hum drum. When everybody
is hustling and bustling in town
to get thier shopping done, and
all the town is alighted with'
lights on Christmas Eve you
decorated the tree then sit in the
dark and sing carols around the
Christmas tree. And when
everythings happy your happy
aren't you? Well I am anyhow.
Just me 'and my family. Oh, it
makes me excited. Christmas
mean happiness to me (having a
friend most of all).

IT'S CHRISTMAS!
Everything was glistening in the
soft, White snow
The stars sparkled like silver and
gold tinsel on the trees
The pool breeze was gently
scented by the bejeweld pines
The air was filled with Kindness
and Merriment
The sound of carols wafted
along the street, delighting
everyone who heard it,
Candles guttered and sputtered
The turkey was just luciously
and enticingly browned
The smell of Christmas pudding
with sauce
The excitement and mystery of
wrapping presents
corresponding with the
delight of unwrapping them
The serene calm of the Birth of
It's Christmas,

The feeling of Christmas,
charity and goodwill to all men,
makes wars and troubles in the
world seem nonexistent. Every
body is every body elses brother
and sister. There is no strife or
hate at this joyous time.
If only this feeling could be
extended to the rest of the year.
Imagine it, a world of perfect
peace.
These feeling of Christmas
mean a lot to me, for they bring
the feeling of togetherness and
love for all humanity, to
everyones home. Where it should
stay.
What troubles me is that the
feeling doesn't stay. Soon we are
back where we started, with
hate, strife, wars, and troubles.

Christmas to me when I think
of it at Christmastime means the
excitement On Christmas Eve.
The happiness of having family
gatherings with no one having to
work Christmas Day. I think
that if someone in my family
had to work that day it just
wouldn't seem the same as a
complete family.
I think frustration has a big
role to play in the Christmas
scene. Such as not being able to
find your gifts if you're looking
for them, replacing one light
bulb on your tree just to have
another one burn out, and
knowing just what you want to
buy at one store when Christmas
shopping and find it's all sold
out.
I think most of all it means
having that Christmas spirit
feeling when buying a gift and
watching a person open it and to
your self-satisfaction like it.
That's what I think Christmas
means.

Christmas is buying and
giving and the odd game of
pinball. Buying is the worst part
of Christmas. Going into Town,
when you live in the country
then the last minute shopping
running out of money etc.
Playing pinball is the most
maddening part of Christmas.
Following a silver ball up and
around trying to make it go up
instead it goes down. It is
rewarding in it's Own way.
Giving is the most important
part of having Christmas having
appreciate a gift makes a person
feel good, And that what
Christmas means to me,

• Christmas is a barrel of fun,
When you get candy by the ton,
Santa Claus rests himself on
Christmas day,
While I have a jolly time all day,
He gives us lots of toys,
Which we really enjoy,
We thank him for the toys he
gave the year before,
Which he enjoys and gives us
more.

To me Christmas means family
gatherings.
Remembering and forgiving,
Helping and sharing,
Cutting your own Christmas tree,
Decorating the tree and presents,
Sleigh riding
And Bell ringing merrily
Rushing and excitement for
some,
And "Pew On Earth" for
others .
Remembering Jesus and the star
of ,Bethlehem,
Angels singing and dancing
everywhere
Carols being sung in the air
And peace among us all,
And that's what Christmas
means to me.

CHRIST IS BORN
One snowy eve there was a
couple whose names were Mary
and Joseph. They were
expecting a child but they didn't
have a place to stay. Finally they
found a place to have the baby
born. They found a stall with
the animals.
As a result babe Jesus was
born in a manger and everyone
rejoiced.
I'm glad that Christ was born,
'because 'if•' he hadn't of been`
born there wouldn't be very
many happy people on
December 25th. Also there
would be no Christmas.

On Christmas Eve we wait
until every one's in the living
room. We take our Bible and
read, then we pray. When
finished we sing songs around
the piano. Mother says go get
your stockings we shall hang
them up, We are then ordered to
go to bed. Janet, that's my bed
partner, and I talk a little then.
drift, off to sleep. Last Christmas
eve, Janet and I, got up, She
tooted her horn, When everyone
finally got np we opened our
presents. We have a special
breafast which we ate after the
presents were opened, We played
with our presents, The dinner
was ready it was delightful like
always. After dinner we went
outside and played in the snow.
We had a good time, watched
T.V., played and went to bed.

Christirias means toys,
Christmas means joys,
It also means candy,
But not for Andy.
He's been a bad boy,
So he doesn't get one toy,
He hang up his stocking,
He came down in the morning,
WITH NOTHING.

Christmas means joy
For lots of little toys
Also the story of the holy birth
For Christ never cursed
For lots of happiness
So after you lay down for a
nappiness
The joy of giving
So you will have lots of happy
living
For lot of presents
Sometimes even phesants
For lots of candy
That will sure come in handy
Under the Christmas tree
That is so wee
Santa Claus will soon be coming
He will be merrily humming
It is fun to be a caroller
No not a sailor
But nothing more important
than the birth of Christ!
