Here two youngsters try their hand at painting with a little help from one of the supervisors, There is a quiet play area with puzzles and the like or an active play area where they can jump or play among staked tires. There is a dramatic play area where the children can carry out family roles, There is a science corner where the children learn about animals, like the class' goldfish, or learn the wonders of a magnifying glass or plant beans. And there is the music corner. After all this activity, there is a compulsory rest time of 15 minutes. There is one formal activity, circle time, which takes up 15 minutes of the afternoon. The children cannot take toys away from others and have to put their toys away before initiating another activity. They must remember that they are part of a group and may not interfere with other children who are busy with their own interests. They cannot hurt each other or harm the equipment.
