She will be the Community Health Nurse for the area of Goderich, East, and Stanley Township. Miss Sills is a graduate of the University of Windsor and received her nursing training at St. Joseph's Hospital in London. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. J. Sills of Seaforth. Constance people at anniversary Kippen East enjoys trip and family, Mr. and Mrs, Wilfred Scott and Brenda, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Thompson and Joan, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Reynolds and family attended the Thompson - Robinson wedding in the Goshen Church on Saturday. Mrs. Klaus Breitbarth and Karen of New Jersey also attended the wedding and are vacationing with the Thompson's. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Packham, (Sylvia Henderson) of Windsor; England, arrived in Canada by Jet on Monday, June 28, to vacation for three weeks with the Tatters mother, Mrs, John Henderson and members of the family in Hensall, Ingersoll and Gorrie. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Love have returned from a trip through Nothern Ontario, where they visited relatives at Thunder Bay. Mr. and Mrs, Roy Hall of Ethel and Mr. and Mrs, George Hall of New Port Richey, Florida were Monday visitors' with Mrs. Ella Jewitt and Mrs. Elma Jewitt. Mrs. Breitbarth and Karen and Mrs. John Thompson, Bob and Sharon are spending a few days this week with the Reynolds of Southfield, Michigan, Kippen East Womens Institute and friends numbering 41 enjoyed a bus trip to Toronto. They visited Canada Dry and the Ontario Science Centre. In the evening they shopped at the recently opened Fairview Shopping Plaza. On the way home they dined at the Loft Restaurant in Kitchener. Response still light for Conestoga courses students including adults who were interested in re-training for new jobs or intensifying their skills in their present fields. These courses range through those approved by the Canada Manpower Training Plan to training in business and industry, management development, effective supervision in manufacturing, human relations, marketing for the tourist industry and labor relations. A Certified Visiting Homemaker course is already underway with one class presently in session and another class planned for later this year. BY SHIRLEY J. KELLER Spence Cummings, Huron County Development officer, told members of Huron County Council that Conestoga College of Applied Arts and Technology has planned courses for the educational development for Huron County for the coming year, but that to date there are only about 100 applications on file from students. "They are quite willing to go ahead with courses but they have no students," said Cummings. Cummings reported that about 15 courses could be made available to Huron County Council learned that an advertising campaign to inform people in Huron exactly what courses are available to them will be launched. Referring to CFB Clinton and the progress the committee has had in locating an alternative facility there, Cummings said the sivation remains unchanged until the base "is turned over to somdbody". "The Ontario government officials are very active in meetings with the Federal government," said Cummings, "and I would hope to hear something in the very near future."
