CARE OF FLOWERING To ensure good strong flowers with bigger and better blooms next year, take care of those early and midseason plants which are now in bloom. Leave the foliage on the plants until it dies. This will put all the strength possible into the new bulb. After daffodils and SEAFORTH Insures: * Town Dwellings * All Class of Farm Property * Summer cottages * Churches, Schools, Halls Extended coverage (Wind, smoke, water damage, falling objects etc.) is also available. BULBS ENSURES BLOOMS NEXT YEAR narcissi have flowered, tie their leaves together and wait until they have turned yellow before pliiling them up. Tulips require a little special care. It is wise to give them good garden fertilizer just before they flower or immediately after. A recommended fertilizer which • can be used satisfactorily on the whole flower border is 5-20-20. Remove spent flower heads but leave all foliage if possible, as it manufactures food for the bulb. The leaves can be removed when they begin to turn a pale greenish-yellow.
