plants until it dies. This will put

BULBS ENSURES BLOOMS NEXT YEAR
narcissi have flowered, tie their
leaves together and wait until
they have turned yellow before
pliiling them up.
Tulips require a little special
care. It is wise to give them good
garden fertilizer just before they
flower or immediately after. A
recommended fertilizer which
•
can be used satisfactorily on the
whole flower border is
5-20-20. Remove spent flower
heads but leave all foliage if
possible, as it manufactures food
for the bulb. The leaves can be
removed when they begin to
turn a pale greenish-yellow.
