Over the weekend visiting with them were son Neil and Miss Judy Duncan of Toronto, On this trip back home to Canada Mr. and Mrs. Bellchamber have attended the graduation of youngest son Neil at the University of Western Ontario, visited with Mr. and Mrs, Nigel Bellchamber and son Jason of London and spent several days with son, Brian Spring wedding Grime and family in Guelph. They will return to Naussau next week. Mrs. Bob Turner has returned from hsopital, where she underwent surgery, and is recuperating at home. Miss Kathy Wild of Clinton was guest of honour at a shower held at the home of Mrs. Lloyd Westlake on May 15. Forty guests honoured Kathy prior to her marriage to Terry McClinchey on May 22. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hulls attended a Hulls' reunion at Georgetown last Sunday. Miss Karen Larson visited with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Larson on the weekend. Harold F. Currie united in marriage Eleanor Isabel McKenzie and Alvin Lloyd Filby of R.R.2 Kent Bridge. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.,, Peter McKenzie of Kippen. For her wedding, the bride chose a blue crepe dress with lace sleeves and a A—line skirt and she carried a white Bible crested with pink sweet heart roses. The bride was attended by her sister Mrs. Harold Cudmore, R. R. 1 Hensel', who wore a cream crimplene dress. The groom was attended by his brother-in-law, Harold Cudmore. The wedding dinner was held at the Dufferin Hotel, Centralia. Cliff Utter, Bill Mcllwain, Reg Francis and Gordon Westlake returned on Sunday from a fishing trip in the north country to a place called Meteor Lake. They tell me that they caught all the lake trout and pickerel they wanted to eat and had a real good time. Reg spent the last afternoon filling a stringer with fish to bring home to Bert Dunn but Gordon Westlake while washing the fish off lost the whole works in the lake — so no fish for Bert. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stevenson, Kathy, Karen, Doug and David and Mrs. B. A. Quigg, Kim and Joe visited Mr. and Mrs. Eric Earl on Sunday. A birthday party was held for Mrs. Stevenson (Mary Louise) and we had cake, candles, presents, the whole hit. Ten dollars is to be given to the A.C.W.W. project, "Pennies for Friendship". The District Annual was held in Londesboro on May 31. Delegates were Mrs. Popp, Mrs. C. Holland, Mrs. C. Elliott, and Mrs. R. Colclough. It was moved that tea fees be set at 25 cents and that raffles be cut out at each meeting. Christmas exchange gifts are to be valued at one dollar.
