that's the look of this year's cottons
And to bring out the gypsy in
your soul are ruffled dresses with
capes or boleros , . skirts that float
just above the ankle paired with
blouses baring an expanse of -mid-,
riff. Or, try a forties look in a
trenchcoat made from water repel-
lant cotton vistram. Very feminine
is a crocheted suit of 100% cotton
yarn,
A fen-line custom too is em-
broidered cottons . , butterflies
flitting to and fro .. polka dots in
free fall , . strawberry patches on
fields of white „ • flower gardens
growing in wild abandon, Extremely
fetching when combined with up-
to-the-minute styles.
And a fibre that is both modern
and traditional is cotton, Cotton is
more than 7,000 years old but is
finished with the most recent pro-
cesses available.
Cotton . . an old tradition
turned into modern ideas.
FASHION A-TWIRL . . . shirred

new length, makes for a romantic-
looking dance dress. Embellished with
swirling stripes on the ruffled capelet
and flounced hem.
CROCHET A MIDI . . Mercerized
and metallic all-cotton crochet yarns
are worked in alternating bands to
create a textured pattern in this
spring-minded midi and bolero.

HAMLET GOES
TO THE SPRING FLING
To go or not to go; let that not be the question
'Isis nobler to enjoy than to have missed
The swings and barrels of good frolic.
Devoutly to be wished — to dance, to drink
Perchance to eat — 'tis a consummation.
For this is spring with summer soon to follow
Ay there's the thing — THE SPRING FLING,
Let's not pause, the ticket's the thing,
For without — that makes calamity of so long a life.
You'll suffer the swings and snarls of outrageous wife
Don't take arms against a sea of troubles.
Yea, support the cause — To go, to go
Then fly to others who know not of the cause
The 26TH OF JUNE Ay that's the date
So good friend make haste and get your mate.
Don't lose the name of action — To go, to go
Pursueth thy sitter — Soft you now
As only thou wilt face the music — THE BLUETONES,
The musicians of all musicians good, yea very good.
And so, my friend — make haste, make haste,
Thy time grows Short. That it should -come to this
But two months more — Nay, not so much
Not two — 0 most wicked speed
It is not good nor it cannot come to good,
For you to miss the KIN thing of a SPRING FLING.
