Jane, a vice-president of the Ontario New Democratic Party, was elected to the London Board of Control on her first try. ' Charlie is convinced that as organizer of Alec Richmond's campaign in the last Federal election in Middlesex East, he could have won that one too if he had 'gone out on a limb' and spent about $2,000 more than his budget. "Don't worry too much, if you end up with some debt," he said. "It keeps your organization alive to have to get out of the red, and the NDP is noted for paying its bills."
