first game of the W,. 0, A, A,
semi-finals with a strong team
effort. They out-skated and
out-hussled the Hanover team as

their teamwork in passing the

finishing them off,
Mike Anstett, Brian Kennedy
and John Vanloo figured in on
nine of the goals scored with
John Vanloo getting the hat

Last Friday, Clinton met
Stratford Northwestern in a
senior basketball game.
The game was one of the
better of the season,, but CHSS
again could not rouse themselves
to play good basketball. The
game was won by Clinton only
because of the better individual
play. The final score was 72-47
with Pete Cameron getting 20
points, Andre Aiming 12 and
James Newland with 10.
Last Monday, Clinton
conquered Wingham 73-32. Pete
Cameron had a big afternoon
with 28 points. Rich Dubler
followed with 12. Highlight of
the game was a complete control
of the ball for a minute at a
time, for almost five minutes.
Next game Wednesday against
Listowel, Friday a big game
against Mitchell and next
Tuesday against St. Marys.
Mike Anstett and John Vanloo combined on this play Sunday night to score one of 13 goals the
Clinton Midgets garnered as they swept to a 13-1 win over Hanover in the WOAA semi-finals.
Here the Hanover defenceman watchs the puck go into the net. The two, along with Brian
Kennedy scored nine of the 13 goals.
