members and visitors, then read

Hymn 571, Standing at the
Portal, was sung with Mrs,
Pennibaker at the piano. Mrs. W,
T. Murch conducted the worship
service. The ten commandments
were repeated by all. Mrs. M.
Steep read the meditation, then

commandments that lead to
happiness and closed with the
thought / that life is like a
grindstone, whether it grinds
you down or polishes you up
depends on what you ate made
of. Envelopes were distributed
for members to use for their
monthly offerings. Fees were

minutes of the December
Meeting and Mrs. Sutter read the
treasurer's report. Visiting

reported that a number of home
and hospital calls had been made
but said she would like more
shutins to be visited and asked

collision involving vehicles
owned by Kevin Paul
McCormick, R. R. 4, Goderich,
Wayne Franklin Bauer, R. R. 1,

Goderich arid James Emerson
McNair, 2891 Lakeshore Road,
Brights Grove. All four vehicles
sustained damage.
Also that day on Clan Gregor

Bayfield and a juvenile were
involved in a car—snow vehicle
collision resulting in damage to
the snow vehicle. A juvenile
passenger on the snow vehicle
received injuries,

involved in a single truck
accident resulting in damage to
the vehicle he was driving.

Mary Jamieson.
The February Unit meeting
will be on February 16 at the
home of Mrs. W. Holland. In
charge will be Mrs. Dorothy
McLaren, Mrs. Helen Shearing
and Mrs. Rita Dales. The
business meeting closed with the
singing of hymn 570 "For Thy
Mercy and Thy Grace".
Mil, Steep introduced Mrs.
Brock Olde, who delighted the
ladies with a travelogue of her
recent visit to Germany, Bavaria
and Austria, Mrs. Murch
expressed the sincere thanks of
the group for the very lovely

committee, Mrs. Murch and Mrs.
Steep then served a delicious
lunch.
