ZION A well attended concert was presented by the pupils of Zion .School with a very interesting program on Tuesday night, -De­ cember 14th in Zion Hall under the direction of their teacher, Mrs. Frank Ritchie. The accom­ panist was Mrs, Simpson; The program consisted of choruses, “Jolly Christmas/’ “Christmas in Killarney, “Hard Rock, Coco and Joe”, “He’ll be coming down the Chimney”, by the school; dia­ logues were “Fisherman’s Luck” by Evans Helm, Ken Gardner, Ken Kirklarid; “Here comes the Bride”’. by Barry .. McDonagh, Chris Raynard, Evans Helm, Don­ ald Kirkland; other dialogues were .“What Christmas Means”, “bargain Day at the Gallery” and a fashion parade; recitations were given by Ronald Gardner, Larry Hunter, Lloyd Reid, Anne Ritchie; pantomime, “New'sboy. Tim”; Frog Pond Journal by Evans Helm; dances by Juniors and . Seniors in costumes and a solo by Elaine Cook; three inter­ esting numbers were given by Zion’s^,men’s ’quartette, Charlie Anderson, John Ritchie, Jim Hun­ ter, Bill Hunter. Santa came to unload the Christmas tree. Lunch was served at the conclusion of the program. Three Had Perfect S.S. Attendance, Zion Sunday School Christmas concert was held on December 7th in Zion Church. An interest­ ing program was, given during which pupils were presented with diplomas and aeals according to "their attehdahceduringtheyear.
