FQR FOX DRIVE
From all field dfeports the
country is being oyer-run with
foxes which are taking a heavy
toll of farm poultry as. well - as
rabbits and partridge.
With this in mind and also the
fact, that Hungarian partridge
will be released shortly., the Luc-
Tee- Win Club has made plans
to hold a fox drive on Boxing
Day in the vicinities of Luck
now, Teeswater and Wingham.

Lucknow District. Jack . Camp
bell at Point Clark and the Has-
ris Boys at Holyrood have groups
arranged and Cecil Attridge is
lining up another squad.
On the night of the drive-each
captain is asked to.<bring in his
team’s foxes; to the zone secret
ary who in turn will pay $1.00
per fox .shot on Boxing Day. .
The club is offering cash prizes
to the three high teams bringing
in the greatest number of foxes;
1st prize, $15.00; 2nd, $10.00; 3rd,
$5.00 are offered.
The hunt starts at daybreak
and ends at sundown With each
captain choosing his own terri
tory adjacent to the towns men
tioned.
In all cases hounds may be
used blit, the use of firearms is
limited to shotguns ONLY.
