Lucknow Town Hall was filled
to capacity on Friday evening to
enjoy an excellent Christmas con
cert presented by the, students
of Lucknow Public School, with
musical accompaniment by Mrs.
Irwin Carruthers.
From the delightful opening
number by the kindergarten
children to the well presented
closing act‘by the Grade 7 and
8 pupils, the concert proved most
enjoyable. The costumes added
much and indicated a good deal
of work in this regard, as well,
as the hours spent by the staff
in training the children.
The kindergarten children pre
sented an acrostic number and a
dance by the girls. Those taking
part in the acrostic were: Mary
Bannister, Mary Elizabeth West-,
lake, Joan MacKenzie, Arietta
Pollock, Donna Corriji, Rickie
Jardine, Lynn Hodgins, Michael
