In a recent newspaper article called “Points for Parents”, this advice; was given. If a child per sists in tearing the wallpaper, don’t punish him, but cover the wallpaper with cellophane. When he is a little older he will be able to understand why he must riot do it. This seems to discount the fact that children learn at a very early age. Bob Morton, whfe has been Working for Bob Barkwell at Kingston, is visiting here at the home of his. parents. Frank Barkwell returned home on Monday^ from Wingham Hos- _pital where he had been a >pat=- ient for a couple of Weeks after undergoing an operation. Mr. Robert Steele of Detroit took advantage of the Thariks- gving Day holiday tq come up to his cottage at Point Clark and have a visit with friends in the community at the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. tlifford MacMil lan, Christine and Michael of Str Catharines were week-end visi tors with Mr. and Mrs. J. L. MacMillan, who also liad as.
