The death of. Charles MacKen-
zie Ross, age 36. occurred in. Lon
don on Wednesday, August 4th,
due to a heart,;condition, He was
•born at Lochalsh in Ashfield
Township on October 26th, 1917,
and was onec of. a family of ten
children torn to . the late Rod
erick Ros'S., and : Margaret' Mac
kenzie.
Charles was of . a quiet and
kindly disposition, and ever ready
[•to lend a helping hand when his
’ health permitted, but being of
P j a very delicate constitution he
|Lad been, hospitalized for many

A private funeral service was
held, at the McLennan-Mackenzie
Memorial Chapel on Saturday af
