pictures of a demolished car;
that almost claimed the life of
< his son, David ^Whitby—David,
who is serving with the United
States Air Force, was home on
furlough at the time and side-
. swiped a big tractor trailer
with his Dad’s car. David was
unconscious for eleven days
While his life hung in the bal-

driver’s side , had to be remov
ed/before David, whom police
believed was dead, could be
removed from behind the wheel
where he was pinned. Others
in the car suffered extensive
injuries, with the exception of
■ his brother Eddie, who was, the
only one of. the party that
wasn’tknockedunconscious.

right* leg when she fell off a
pony. Her Dad suffered a hand
injury recently in a haying ac
cident. Marie is a granddaugh

broke his arm recently when
he slipped, in the barn and his
brother had stitches /put in his
forehead to close a gash re
ceived when he fell down

the fourth time the position has
been held by a Blythite.
THAT Lavergne MacMillan, son
