year old Southampton girl, was
crushed to death below a huge
boulder that rolled on her; Spec
tators were taking up positions
on the pile, of boulders which
supported a bridge abutment,
When the big rocks started to
-roll. A. friend of the victim was
also caught by the rock but her
injuries were, not severe.

the illness Of Mr. - Joseph Gar
vey, Q.C., of Toronto, who had
a serious operation in St. Mich
ael’s- Hospital, Toronto, and his
many friends , here wish him a
speedy recovery.
