The hay was being taken oft’ on shares by Harold Austin and was being assisted by Gib Ham­ ilton and Jack and. Fraser Mac­ Kinnon. An old load of hay which had /been dumped a . year #go, was in th4e. road and it was set afire, and at noon spread out of control. Successful Garden Party The annual garden party held on the t grounds of St. Joseph’s church here..last Monday night proved to be a most successful event both socially and financ­ ially.
