OBITUARY I
MISS GBACE RICHARDSON
After an illness extending oyer
^the past year,* Miss Grace Eliza
beth Richardson, daughter of Mr.
^andMrs. John Richardson, *fees-
water, passed away on Saturday
Teveningi, September 5th, at the
baime of her brother, Mr. Janies
^Richardson, Kinloss Township.
Stricken with a bone malady
lest year, she underwent an op
eration in Victoria Hospital, Lon
don, in December, when one leg
was. removed at the hip. Her
—gradualdecline—jnhealthfwas
climaxed by death last. Saturday^
— Deceased was bom aiid- raised
in Kuiloss Township near Lang-
." tide, spending most of ■■■ her later
years in Teeswater, bbing /em^-
ployed in the Thompson Bros, of
fice and latterly, until her illness,
at the Cosy Restaurant. She was
an active member of Langside
Presbyterian Church, and of the
Rebekah Lodge, Teeswater, Her
pleasant and friendly disposition,
endeared her to a host of ac
quaintances in^ this and the
Xangside community.
Surviving are her parents and
two brothers, < James of . Kinloss
and Robert of Teeswater.
. The funeral was held Tuesday
afternoon from Langside Presby
terian church with Rev; R, D. A.
Currie in charge, assisted by Rev,
Mr. Pollock of Wingham. Mrs.
Andrew Gaunt sang an appropri
ate solp. interment took place in
Teeswater Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Charles Tiffin, W. Taylor,
Fred Tiffin; Jas. McBurney, John
son Conn and Chas. Taylor. Flow
er bearers were G. Tiffin, W. Tif*
fin, W. Conn,. E/ Scott, Q, Wall,
D.^ Stewarf,. W. Scott, D,. Simp
son, L. Thornton, T. Friendship,

Presbyterian Mission Band
The Presbyterian Mission Band
held their 'first Fall meeting in
the Sunday School rooms on
Monday, Sept. 14th. There were
31 present. The birthday parade
brought s8c, it being Aleta Pol
lock’s & Joan MacKenzie’s birth- •
day this month. Total givings
were $1.48. Mrs. V. Mowbray read
a letter about sending toys to
mittee for next month is Betsy
Henderson and Nancy Forster.
