Combine 1 ’well beaten egg with 3 tbsp, lemon juice, J. tbsp, sugar and adjzrto’fone cup. of milk, mix-J ing thoroughly. ■ Molasses Mocha Milk: Mix .I1 tbsp, molasses, 1 tbsp, coffee, 1 tbsp, strong coffee, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 cup milk together. Fruit Milk Shak^: Combine 2 or 3 tbsp; crushed fruit with: 2 tbsp, sugar, add to 1 cup milk. Chill. Maple or butterscotch Drink: Mix Y2 tbsp. ,hiaple or butter­ scotch syrup with 1 cup milk, add a dash( Of lemon juice, thoroughly. Banana Fluff: Mix .J/2 mashed bananas with 1 orange. j uice and 1 tibsp. honey; add to 1 cup milk. Beat with rot­ ary beater , until smooth. Chill welt (Most take two tall glasses). Apple juice: Cook apple juice for 1$ min. with several, small, pieces of preserved ginger. Strain and chill. Or cook it with a few whole cloves, stick cinnamon, dash of nutmeg, if you like (I don’t), and a slicb each of lemon “and Orange peel, #ind lhduded. Cook over low heat 30 min. . ' < For Hamburgers and Hot Dogs try Sunshine Picalilli: 18 medium carrots- 6 mediumB cucumbers, 2 large green peppers, 6 medium onions, 2 sweet red peppers, two cups white vinegar, 3¥2 cups of sugar, 1 tsp. celery Seed, 1 tsp. mustard seed. Grind vegetables through medium blade of food -chopper.-Combine—ground-vege­ tables with remaining ingredients in large kettle and heat. to 'boil­ ing; simmer 15 min. Seal in hot sterilized jars. Red arid Green Relish: 12 large green pepper, 6 large sweet red peppers, 6 medium onions, 6 med­ ium green tomatoes, 3 cups sliced celery, 3 cups sliced: caulitlower- ets, 5 cups vinegar, 5 cups sugar, 2 tbsp, mustard seed, one-third cup salt Slice vegetables thin. Pour boiling water, over and let stand 15 min.; drain thoroughly, Pack in hot sterile jars.. Combine remaining ingredients, heat to boiling poiht. Pour - over vege­ tables; seal at once. ..' ..
