No. 132, of Amberley, will*hold
a church parade in Lucknow to
St. Peter’s Anglican Church on
Sunday, August 9th in observance
of Derry Day.
Joining with the Preceptory,
the only one in this district, and
which is 60 members strong, will
*be members of district Orange
Lodges and L.O.B.A. members
are also invited.
... The parade will form in the
9*d I-O.O.F. hall in the Johnstone
Block, and; will ..be headed by
; the Bannockburn Pipe Band, to
St. Peter’s for ^service at 11 a.m.
AUXILIARY PICNIC
WAS ENJOYABLE EVENT
The Ladies’ Auxiliary to the
Canadian Legion, No. 309, held
their July meeting in the form
of a picnic at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Jack England on Thurs
day; July 23rd. About 50 mem-^
bers, visitors and children were
present. ' •
The sports program was in
charge of Mrs. Joe Wasney and
Mrs. Ronald Forster. Prize win
ners were as follows: 5 years and
