two of them in the 3rd inning
when Goderich scored their coun-

The Legionnaires were “clout
ing” for them and bagged eight
hits off Justice, with Mann get
ting a triple and Greer a double.
Between times Charlie Was bear
ing down to strike out 15. He
whiffed three in a row in the
8th but the Letgionnaires came
out fighting in the 9th to bag
three runs .on three hits, a field
er’s. choice . and an infidld out.
That settled it. Charlie was Ori

the last half was over.

team. On Wednesday evening in
the Caledonian Park they Scored
a 12-5 win arid back at Under
wood, on Friday night edged out

game here, Manager Garriet Heri-
derson conducted a prize draw

doll. Mrs. Redvers Johnston won
the bicycle; but took the hash
