disrupted hydro service locally
for several hours. The power
went off shortly after 2.30 a;m.
and it. was about ten o’clock be
fore the current was on to stay.
A- sunny and warm Sunday was
rudely ended by a violent elect
rical storm, accompanied by .tor
rential rain that broke about 7.30
hail and wind accompanied the
first deluge and, wheat fields suf
fered^, which had hot previously
been flattened'or twisted by the
weatherman’s- antics and copious

causing lightning damage . that
