A large num­ ber of interested, parents and friends were --also present. -• Also presented was a Provin­ cial Honor Certificate fdr com­ pleting 12. projects, to Elizabeth Scott, a member of the^ Purple Grove club. Six girls received theip County Honor Certificates for completing six. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN! i I This community will mark Cor­ onation Day next Tuesday with a public service in Caledonian Park preceded by a- gigantic parade that should be patriotically im­ pressive. The religious signify, cance of the occasion will be stressed at. the service, which will not exceed anJiour, . —^I-n-even-t-of^ranTthe service will be held in the. Arena and^the parade will be dispensed with. Inyitations have been extended to some thirty neighboring-rural schools to t^ce part in the par* ade. Local organizations pattici* pating" will include the Lggion, Ladies Auxiliary, High School students, Cadet Corps, School' students, Guides, SJcouts, Broiwnies and Cu!bs. , ; The High School Brass Band will provide martial airs for , the parade and it is hoped that busi­ ness places and residences will be flag bedecked to add to the setting. The parade will form at the school grounds and will move off to be .in place in the park at 10.00 a.m. The program will be brief but appropriate, opening with the chairman’s remarks, by Reeve S/ E. RobdrtsbnC The singing of “All People That On Earth Do Dwell”, will be followed by the dedica­ tory prayer iby Rev. G. A.. Meikle- john. Rev. fl. L. Jennings will speak on “The Significance of The Coronation” and the pledge of allegiance, will be led by Leg­ ion President Clarence Greer.
