The March meeting of the Kin-
taib W. I; was held at the home
of Mrs. Dan WyIds. The roll call
o was answered with an Irish joke.
; There were 20 members, 6 visi-
, tors and 2 children. The Salada
Tea quilt tickets are on sale and
the quilt is on display at ^John-

the co-operation of all members
with their donations of woollen

The Institute donated $10 to the

quilt that was 'made up by Mrs.
Wilkins. A demonstration on
making mitts, from cloth was
given by Mrs. Bert Alton. Pat
terns of which were passed out.

Mrs. Winn-was hostess to the
Senior Auxiliary, which met at
the Mapse on Wednesday,. March
4th. Miss -MacLeod conducted op?-
ening exercises and also took flhe
Bible study; dealing with the re-
jeetiop of Isreal and the present
restoration of .their— own—land.-
Isreal today can be termed “the
clock of the world”. Mrs. J. Little
summarized the story from the
supplementary Study book while
Mrs. Morgan Henderson gave a
detailed account of the life of
David Livingston. Mrs, Harry
Anderson, Miss Carrick and Mrs.
Joe Agnew took part in the pray
er circle, followed by a pleasing
solo by, Mrs. Robt. Reid. The roll
cal! Was answered by a verse be
ginning with “M”. Mrs. H. Nixon
reported/for the visiting commit
tee during the month of Febru
ary. The meeting closed with
prayer by Mrs. Winn who also
served, lunch to the society.

into Bruce CJounty in May to con
duct a mass x-ray program spon
sored by the Bruce Tuberculosis
Association. The units, are sched
uled to be in Lucknow on May
19th and 20th.., -
; A corps of volunteers is to be
organized with -a view to can-
vassing every household intritirig
all occupants over twelve years
of age to attend and have a
chest x-ray taken. ;
