month of July and August kicked off
in a flurry.
On Saturday, July 30 the club

Bernice and Gerry Edwards. Around
80 family members and close friends
got together in the dining lounge for
a roast beef and chicken buffet

A long game on the pitch
After 30 minutes of extra time, Wingham and Teeswater still
couldn’t decide who was going to proceed to the next level
of the Rec League soccer tournament held in Brussels on
Sunday. Teeswater took the win in a shootout after this
scramble resulted in Wingham’s tying goal. The tournament
concludes next Sunday. (Jim Brown photo)
