Job Specifi cations and Competencies: • Post-secondary education/training in a related fi eld such as occupational health, nursing, human resources management or equivalent; and, three years related experience with disability/attendance support, preferably in the broader public sector in a multi-unionized environment. • Sound working knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, and other applicable acts, regulations and guidelines. • Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. • Capability to appropriately manage sensitive situations and information. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and confl ict resolution skills. • Demonstrated computer literacy skills including experience with data management systems and MS Offi ce applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). • Must possess a vehicle for travel within the district and a valid class “G” Ontario Driver’s license.
