first game of the season in the Huron
County Fastball League on Friday,
but unfortunately it was against the
Blyth Barons who had already
played three games.
The Blyth Barons scored three
runs in the bottom of the seventh
inning to claim a home field 7-6
decision over the Tigers.
Dean Wheeler started on the
mound for the Barons, with Adam
Cronin coming on in relief. Darcey
Cook finished up on the mound to
record the win.

innings for the Tigers, with Shawn
Daw pitching the final two innings.
Daw was tagged with the loss.

McDonald rapped out two singles
apiece for the Barons. Collecting
one single each for the Barons were

battle as the Barons had to come
from behind throughout the contest.

into a triple.
