HARVEY BOGIE
Harvey Earl Bogie of Goderich
passed away peacefully Sunday,
March 20, 2011 at Alexandra Marine
and General Hospital in Goderich
after a long battle with cancer. He
was in his 70th year.
He was the husband of the late
Doris (Young) Bogie (1994), loving
best friend and partner of Marguerite
Gross and brother of Barry Bogie
and his wife Willa of Saltford.
He was also survived by many
nieces and nephews. He will be
fondly remembered by his
stepson Larry and stepdaughter
Denise. He was predeceased by his
parents Earl (1975) and Edna (1981)
Bogie.
Friends were received at the
Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd. in
Goderich March 23 from 7 - 9 p.m.
A graveside interment service will
be held later in the spring at
Colborne Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy,
memorial donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society or North Street
United Church would be
appreciated.
EDITH HAZEL VINCENT
Mrs. Edith Vincent of Belgrave
passed away at Huronlea Home for
the Aged in Brussels on Thursday,
March 31, 2011. She was 91.
The former Edith Wallace was the
wife of the late Harold Vincent who
predeceased her in 2007.
She was the dear mother of
Murray and Joyce Vincent of RR 1,
Belgrave, Donald Vincent of
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Neil and
Joan Vincent of RR 3, Wingham and
Grant Vincent of RR 5, Wingham
and his friend Judy Peel. She was the
sister of Robert and Anne Wallace of
Seaforth and sister-in-law of Ruth
Wallace of London. Edith is
survived by nine grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her
granddaughter Shannon Vincent,
daughter-in-law Carol Vincent, sister
Anna Archibald and brother Arthur
Wallace.
Visitation was held at McBurney
Funeral Home, Wingham on
Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at the
funeral home chapel on Wednesday
at 1:30 p.m.
Interment is in Brandon Cemetery,
Belgrave.
Memorial donations to Wingham
and District Hospital Foundation or
Knox United Church, Belgrave
would be appreciated as expressions
of sympathy.

What a wonderful time was had at
the Cranbrook Hall on Friday night.
Everyone was so happy that the card
parties have started again.
There were seven-and-a-half
tables in play at the Cranbrook
euchre, hosted by Allan Edgar and
Viola Adams.

ladies’ high, Yvonne Knight; ladies’
