Huron Contractor’s Expoin Goderich on Friday The Huron County Contractor’s Expo happening on Friday, March 25 at the Goderich Columbus Centre and is a little over four weeks away. There is still time to book your booth space, or lunch tickets, for this exciting event. CMG Building Solutions Inc. is partnering with the Huron Small Business Enterprise Centre, Libro Financial Group, Norseman Structures and other local groups, to hold this day-long event. Running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., this event will feature seminars, guest speakers, a tradeshow and a hot lunch. Seminar topics will include building code rules and regulations, health and safety training information, apprenticeships and other employer- related programs, green building sector impacts, customer service excellence, and the State of the Huron County Economy. The key note speaker will be Melissa Schenk of MS2 Productions, who will be speaking on how to successfully market your business on the internet. The event is open to the public, and admission to the tradeshow and seminars is free. Individual lunch tickets cost $20 per person – pre- registration is required for these tickets. Booth spaces for those who wish to promote their products and services will be available at a cost of $100 – this includes a 10' x 10' booth space and an 8' table, as well as two lunch tickets. Spaces will be booked on a first-come-first-served basis. When the yarn was soaked in the cherry Kool-Aid, it became red. the red yarn even smelled like cherries. After the club had experienced the process of making yarn, they closed the meeting with the 4-H motto.
