municipal road allowances to install
water and sanitary sewers for the
Pioneer project on the eastern edge
of Wingham. North Huron will own
the installations but they will be on
Morris-Turnberry property.

is misleading, because council
didn’t even make some of these
decisions, they
were made by committees of
council.”
The Lions run an ice rink at the
location and wish to have a
washroom that could be used by the
skaters.
According to Chief
Administrative Officer Mark
Becker, the cost would be
minimal, as a port-a-potty is
already placed at the
Agricultural Hall for the slowpitch
season, from May to August, so
the request to have one year-
round would cost a total of
$960.
Council decided to invite the
Dungannon and District Lions
Club to a meeting to give them the
chance to request these
oppportunities.
The original decision to not place
a port-a-potty for the winter months
came from the Lucknow Recreation
Board since the skating rink, and
activities that happen there, aren’t
run through their group.
