Baptism is the grace of God,
which calls these families to affirm
the miracle of new life in their midst.
The sacrament of baptism is also a
time of personal renewal, regardless
of age or status, with God and
community together.
The new life among us is
celebrated in this sacrament as we
come before God. Ken Procter, chair
of the session read from Mark 10:
13-16. On behalf of our faith family,

initiation into the body of Christ
through baptism, Acelyn Tanyia and

of Psalm 103 and from Leviticus 19:
1-2, 17-18 from The Message. “How
Firm a Foundation” was the song of
commitment and trust.
The Gospel Word was taken from
Matthew 5: 38-48. The message,
God’s Word to Us and the sermon
was entitled, “Boundaries or
Frontiers”. Boundaries do have their
place. Boundaries can keep us
moving along the way. God has to
give us frontiers to keep us moving.
He first sets our boundaries, and
then he brings us to his frontiers.
God shows us the way in the paths
we are called to take, forcing us to
the limits of our boundaries and
beyond to the frontiers of our lives
which find the way. God always
stretched our boundaries beyond
where we are. He leads us each day
toward the frontier of faith and life
where true freedom lies and is
found.
