away at Wingham and District
Hospital on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011.
He was 53.
He was the beloved son of Philip
and Gloria Borho of Kitchener and
the late Joan (Geotz) Borho and dear
brother of Kenneth and Brenda
Borho of Kitchener, Dianne and
Brad Sugg of Embro, Joey Borho of
Belgrave, Roberta Carter of
Cambridge and Texann and Bill
Anderson of Guelph. He was the
grandson of Helen Martin of
Ohsweken. He is also survived by
several aunts, uncles, nieces and
nephews.
Memorial services will be held at
McBurney Funeral Home Chapel,
Wingham on Saturday at 1
p.m. Father K.P. Morrison will
officiate. Final resting place will be
Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo,
Ontario.

MARIE COUTTSMarie (Bennett) Coutts, formerly
of Walton, passed away at the
Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on
Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011. Born in Grey
Township on Jan. 22, 1931, Marie
was in her 81st year.
Marie was the beloved wife of the
late William J. Coutts, who
predeceased her on Dec. 20, 2002
and will be sadly missed by
daughters Karen Carter, and her
husband Allan of Seaforth, and
Connie Cook of Mississauga, her
grandchildren Pam and Curt
Cummings of Nipawin,
Saskatchewan, Cindy Carter and
Chris Stewart of Blyth, Vicki and
Dwane Leddy of Clinton and Hollie
Cook of Burnaby, British Columbia
and her great-grandchildren Kyra,
Camden, Kerrington, Cayden and
Callie.
She was also loved by her brother
Ross Bennett, his wife Margaret of
Brussels, her sister-in-law Jean
Wilbee of Seaforth and by many
nieces and nephews. She waspredeceased by her parents Roy and
Viola Bennett.
Friends were received by the
family one hour prior to the funeral
service conducted from the
Schimanski Family Funeral Home,
Brussels, on Monday, Feb. 7 at 2
p.m. Rev. Peter Kugba-Nyande of
Duff’s United Church officiated.
A remembrance of Marie was
given by her son-in-law Allan Carter.
Cremation will be followed by
interment in Brussels Cemetery at a
later date.
Memorial donations may be made
to Duff’s United Church or to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation.

DON KITCHENER
Don Kitchener of Brussels passed
away at his residence in Brussels on
Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011. He was in
his 65th year.
Don will be sadly missed by his
wife Yvonne and by his sister BettySalisbury and her friend Ron Budge.
At Don’s request, cremation has
taken place and there will be no
funeral home visitation or service.
As an expression of sympathy,
memorial donations may be made to
the Canadian Diabetes Association.

JOHN ANSON “JACK” SHAW
Mr. Jack Shaw of Bluevale, passed
away at Wingham and District
Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011.
He was 73.
Jack was the beloved husband for
47 years of Carol (Dunseith) Shaw,
dear father of David and Peggy
Shaw of Gorrie, Bryan and Mary
Shaw of Bluevale, Joanne and Lloyd
Lockie of Goderich and Susan Eckel
of London.
He was the loving son of Pearl
Shaw of Fordwich. He will be
lovingly remembered by
grandchildren Corey, Mitchell,
Ronna, Spencer, Jennifer, Trevor,Darren, Erika and Jordan.
He was the brother of Harvey and
Betty Shaw of Brussels, Jim and
Frances Shaw of RR 1, Bluevale,
Dorothy Thompson of Bluevale and
Edith and John Pipe of RR 4,
Brussels. He is also survived by
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father
Alex Shaw, brother-in-law Jim
Thompson, niece Donna Thompson
and nephew Neil Pipe.
Visitation was held at McBurney
Funeral Home, Wingham, on
Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at the
funeral home chapel on Feb. 9 at
1:30 p.m. Rev. Dr. Karen MacRae
officiated. Interment is in Wroxeter
Cemetery, Howick Township.
Memorial donations to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or
the Multiple Sclerosis Society would
be appreciated.
