Highway from Burgoyne *to“ Chippe-1co the members of the Bruce County
wa Hill; The matter was referred
to the Highways Committee to re-,
port , on the matter at the next ses
sion. • -
Regarding the Show question Mr.
Stephenson said that this highway
committee intended to try and give
each town and village an outlet in
the winter, as long as feasible. If
the winter is very severe • the roads
might, be closed from some Sime in
January until the end of March.
Snow fences have been ordered
which will be required by patrolmen
on the sections of road proposed to
be, kept open. . -
Following a banquet tendered by
the Warden to the members of the
Council; the Bruce judiciary, county
officers and ' Walkerton officials on
Thursday night, the Council conclud
ed its final \session of the year on
Friday mornmg and the. members
departed for their‘ homes? -
Although Mr. Duncan "Munn will
nominally function as the Warden
of Bruce until his Successor is chos
en at the- January session ih 1936;
yet the active "-duties of his office
practically closed with the conclud
ing of the Ndvember session last
week. Duncan Munn has been a first
-class Warden, and although thru
out his regime no large vexatious
problems lo'bmed up/ yet whatever
came befpre him was given most
fcpr^ful ahd judicious consideration
by the chief executive officer of this
large,, County, and the splendid co
operation he lias had from his col-
