Mrs. Taylor, one of the old pioneers of the dis^ trict was in her 93rd year. Up until two years ago, for a woman • of her years, / she has' enjoyed good health but since that time has" not been, very, well; On. Sept. :‘23rd she suffered' a stroke and since* then declined rpp-' idly. • ’ , •She was born at Orwell Bay, Prince Edward Island, and as’ a child of eight years', came with .her .[larents .. to .', Gpderich, ,and one year later they settled at Zetland. On July 8th, 1863, she . was married to< George Taylor, who predeceased her in 19,18. After their marriage they farmed at Langside in Kinloss Town­ ship until 1901, when they moved iii- ,to Lower Wingham for a short time, again taking up farming on the B.4 line of Turnberry; for ten years.
