A large number of fans turned out to see the Novices, Pee Wees, Bantams and Juveniles play. The novices were downed 8-0 by a very strong and well-coached American squad. Little Neil Coiquhoun was set up for two more goals in the third period. Clinton netminder Gord Gilfillan played his strongest game of the season to pick up his second shutout.
