BELTS ADD SAFETY
Research findings quoted by
the Ontario Safety League show
that almost one-third of driver
injury in crashes results from
contact with some part of the
steering assembly — either rim,
horn ring or hub. Combination
lap-and-shoulder belts provide
substantial protection against
injurious contact with the
steering assembly. .
