received a rosette and also the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce tray for having the grand
champion steer in the show.' Robert Snell at left holds the Hugh Flynn trophy for showing the

OFA serves
only Ontario
The Ontario Federation of
Agriculture "is the only group
left which is concentrating its
,efforts in serving Ontario
farmers, " said OFA President
Charles G. Munro in a statement
this week.
Mr. Munro said that the
federation "has served, is
serving, and will continue to
serve local groups and
commodity marketing boards on
behalf of the farmers they
represent in membership across
this vast and prospering
province."
The OFA president called the
new individual service
membership programme a "new
and historical dimension" of the
federation, which "will only
deepen and expand the already
established 'service role of the
organization as an important
part of the agricultural scene
today."
He stressed • that the
federation will continue to serve
Ontario farmers as ' individual
agricultural producers and also
their rural community as a
whole.
Mr. Munro went on to say
that the OFA will not approach
farmers and ask them to
"purchase simply a membership
card in an organization which is
seeking your support only
through your wallet."
"We want your support and
involvement for the work we can
and shall be doing for and with
you," he concluded.
