The OFA president called the new individual service membership programme a "new and historical dimension" of the federation, which "will only deepen and expand the already established 'service role of the organization as an important part of the agricultural scene today." He stressed • that the federation will continue to serve Ontario farmers as ' individual agricultural producers and also their rural community as a whole.
