Jim Cudmore's black bass was the first fish caught last Saturday by members of the Huron Fish and
Game Conservation Association's Junior Conservation Club on an angling excursion. Jack Cook and
Brian Hunking are seen above as they get ready to try their luck in the Maitland River. The largest
fish of the day was landed by Paul Middleton. Don Wise's catch of 25 fish was the best of the day and
Bob Falconer and Jim Cudmore tied for the second-biggest fish. — Staff Photo
