Bride-to-.be is .honoured
Miss Sheila Margaret Murray
of Varna and Pte. Richard
Stanley Larnowitch were
married by the Rev. R. A.
Glofchesid in St. Paul's Catholic
Church, CFB Clinton, last
Saturday.
The bride wore a floor-length
white empire-style gown with an
A-line skirt. The bodice, sleeves
and rolled• collar were of lace.
The floor-length train, edged and
appliqued with lace fell from a
small bow at the back waist. The
shoulder-length veil was crowned .
with white net lcaies. The bride
carried a corsage of pink roses
around carnations.
The matron of honour, Mrs.
Gary Murray, and the
bridesmaids, Miss Brenda Ball
and Miss Elaine Masse, wore
'oor-length evening coats with
high stand-up collars over
floor-length sheaths. The gowns
and coats were in salmon pink
'and corsages of daisies' and
carnations were carried.
The mother of the bride, Mrs.
Jim Murray wore a short-sleeved
suit of green silk shantung, The
bodice wasp rig=drossed" and the
yoke was edged with green lace,
appliqued with pearls. Her
accessories were tan.
A highlight of the wedding
was the singer, Gordon Graham
of CFB Trenton. His organist
was Mrs. Carol LeBeau.
The best man Al Allan and
the ushers, Bill Murray, brother
of the bride, and Jack Stephan
were' all friends of the groom.
Eighty guests were present at
the reception, a buffet dinner
held in the Dashwood
Community Centre.
The bride's going-away outfit
Was mauve with a white lace
overlay. The dress featured angel

Miss Toni de Jong of Guelph
was honoured last Wednesday
evening when neighbours and
friends gathered in the Sunday
school room of Knox. United
Church to honour' her with a
bridal shower prior to her
marriage. Yellow and white
streamers and flowers and an
umbrella with balloons
decorated the platform and the
chair for the guest of honour.
The chairman, Mrs. Harold
McClinchey, welcomed all to the
program which began with a
singsong with Mrs. George
Millien at the piano. She also
played a piano solo of old
familiar tunes. A contest — The
Groom's Wardrobe — was given
by Doreen McClinchey. The
whiner was Mrs, Leonard
Archambault. A solo — There's a

was read by Mrs. Bert Daer and
gifts were presented by Carol
Gross, Lorraine Chamney and
Doreen McClinchey.
The opened gifts were placed
by Mrs. Ronald Beecroft and a
ribbon hat made by Mrs. Easom
was placed on the bride's head.
Toni thanked her friends for
the gifts and lunch was served,
