Munn For a trip to Northern and Western Canada the bride travelled in a blue and white dress and jacket ensemble with white accessories and corsage of pink sweetheart roses. The couple will reside in Windsor, Ontario. Guests were present from Seattle, Washington, Ottawa, Kingston, St. Catharines, Woodstock, Toronto and local points. Foster - Boyes Robert Harold Foster of Toronto and Bonnie Laurene Boyes of Clinton were married at 2 p.m, June 21 in, St. Andrew'e Presbyterian Church, Clinton. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. U. McLean. Drganist was Miss Lois Grasby and soloist was Budd Boyes. The bride is the daughter of VIr. and-Mrs. Bert Russell Boyes Clinton. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Foster of Vancouver, B.C. The' bride was given away by her father. The matron of honor was Mrs. Gamine Johns of Mt. lemens, Mich. Bridesmaids Ivere Miss Carol Thompson of ondon, Ont. and Mrs. Allan Foster and •Mrs. Bayne Boyes, )oth of Toronto. Flower girl was Horena Boyes. Sanders - MacDonald Wesley-Willis United Church in Clinton, decorated with candelabra and cut flowers, was the setting June 28 for a wedding in which Lynda Jane MacDonald became the bride of Brian Charles Sydney Sanders. The Rev. Dr. A. J, Mowatt performed the double-ring ceremony and Lorne Dotterer was organist. Bud Boyes was soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret MacDonald and the late Ronald MacDonald of Clinton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aljoe Sanders of Exeter, Lynda Jane, given in marriage by, her uncle, Lorne Brown of 'Clinton, wore a long white lagoda gown with an Alencon lace bodice, long, lily-point sleeves and a cathedral lace train. Her scalloped shoulder-length veil emphasized the edging of her train and was gathered around a cluster of white silk roses. She carried yellow roses on a white lace bible (her grandmother's) with stephanotis and white 'ribbons, A wedding band 'collar on the mint-green ,wide wale ottoman gown of Miss Sharon Brown, maid of honor, stood over a fitted sleeveless bodice and a long, bell skirt fell from flat bows at the waist. Mrs. Marion Cornish and Mrs. Sharon Chappel, bridesmaids, wore gowns identical to Miss Brown's and carried bouquets of white shasta daisies with trailing ivy. They also wore daisies in their headpieces. Nancy Lynn Pratt, the bride's niece, was flower girl and wore a long dress of Alencon lace, matching the bride's gown, over the mint green of the bridemaid's gowns. Ronald Pratt, the bride's nephew, was the ringbearer. Peter McFalls of Exeter was best man. The ushers were James MacDonald, London, brother of the bride, and Harold Chappel of Exeter. The bride's mother wore a lovely A-line dress of pink ribbon lace with champagne accessories. Her corsage was white carnations. The groom's mother wore traditional blue with a pink corsage. The reception. 'was held at the Clinton Legion Hall and the,:;, bride's uncle, Percy Brown, was master of ceremonies. For a wedding trip, to Ottawa, Collingwood and Sudbury, the bride wore a pale green dress with white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. The bride's mother entertained at a trousseau tea on the weekend prior to the wedding. The couple will live in Exeter. Prior to her marriage, the bride was honored at showers given by Mrs. Elmer Frey, Mrs. Gordon Caldwell, Mrs. Cam Pickett, Miss Sharon Brown, Mrs. Mary Brown and Mrs. Alice Rumble, all of Clinton; Mrs. Sharon Chappet and Mrs. Ron Cornish of Exeter and Mrs. Bert Causton of Galt. Bernard - little Londesboro United Church was the scene of a pretty wedding on June 21, at 3:30 p.m. when Mary Patricia Ann Little, Londesboro, was united in marriage to Leslie George Bernard, Clinton, in a double-ring ceremony. Rev. C. B. Heckendorn officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Win. Little, Londesboro, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bernard, Clinton. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal length dress with shallow scoop neckline and lily point sleeves of Chantilly lace and featured an empire waistline trimmed with a lovers knot bow at centre front topping an A-line formal,length • skirt of matching lace with a panel of frosted silk lagoda down the centre front. A chapel train of lace fell from the shoulders and her finger tip veil was •held by a cluster of rose l(Product of Honduras) buds. She carried a cascade of yellow carnations, The maid of honor, Miss Janice Little, Londesboro, and the bridesmaids, Miss Carol Ann Vivian, Staffa, and Miss Marie Bernard, Clinton, were gowned alike in lilac chiffon gowns with skirts of sheer overlay, high lined styling with matching 'alencon lace accents. Their headpieces consisted of a small cluster of rose buds with matching veil. They carried cascades of shasta daisies. Miss Donna Freeman was flower girl and Master David Bernard, the ringbearer, The flower girl's dress was short in the same style as the ones worn by the bridesmaids. She carried a nosegay of shasta daisies and yellow carnations. Harvey Bernard of Clinton was the groomsman and Brian Campbell, Seaforth; Doug Dale of Clinton and Ted Little of Londesboro were the ushers. Miss Elaine Vincent, organist, played traditional wedding music and accompanied the soloist, Miss Barbara Snell, when she sang "0 Perfect Love" 'and "Walk Hand in Hand With Me." A reception was held in the Blyth Memorial Hall. For a trip to Manitoba and the Western Provinces, the bride travelled in an orange dress with a.' matching plaid coat, brown accessories and wore a corsage of brimze orchids., „ „„ The couple will reside at RR 3, 'Clinton, on their return. Contest No. 2 Munn - Garrett Madalene Eileen Garrett, , Clinton and Robert Earl Munn, Windsor were united in marriage on June 14th at 3:30 p.m. in Ontario Street United Church, Clinton, /the Rev. Grant Mills officiating. The flowers in the church were yellow gladioli with white and yellow shasta daisies. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Garrett, Clinton, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Beatrice Munn, RR 2, Staffa. The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a floor-length gown of white lagoda with empire bodice accented by a high collar and long sleeves. The A-line skirt was enhanced by a chapel 4ength train draped from the waist to floor, Chantilly lace and guipure daisy lace with green centres was edged down the , front of the dress and adorned the sleeves and train. To complete her outfit, the bride chose a shoulder-length silk veil caught up by a Juliette cap of guipure lace. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Miss Phyllis Hossack of Seattle, Washington, maid 'of honor and the bridesmaids, Mrs. Linda Mathews, Woodstock; Mrs. June Jacobi, London and Miss Joyce Munn, London were dressed alike in full-length nile green gowns with high necklines accented with white French, embroidered lace. The organist, Miss Lois Grasby played traditional wedding music and accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Margaret Whitmore, St. Catharines, when she sang "The Wedding Prayer", "May Each Day" and "Lord's Prayer". The reception was held in the church auditorium. The bride's mother received the guests wearing a melon French lace sheath with cape-like effect coat in Italian silk with melon accessories and white rose corsage.
