BY GAIL FALCONER

chairman of the Blyth March of
Dimes Campaign, reported that
$290.30 was collected from the
area this year. The marching
mothers canvassed the village,
starting Monday and finishing
Thursday evening. The
donations this year showed an
increase over the $259.55
received last year.
Fourteen mothers of the
children taking figure skating
lessons in Blyth met last week to
decide what kind o,f
"achievement day" could be
arranged for the youngsters. Due
to having only recently joined
the figure skating _association, a
carnival cannot be arranged for
this year, In its place, a review
