Christmas corsages were pinned on the new bride by Miss Sherry Noble and on the bride's sister, Miss Cathy Schneider by Mrs. Barry Turner. They were , escorted to decorated chairs and an address of congratulations was read by Miss Nan Lapp. Gifts were carried in by friends and Mrs. Noble thanked everyone for their gifts and good wishes. The meeting was opened with the Ode, the Mary Stewart Collect and 0 Canada with Mrs. Gordon Taylor at the piano. Mrs. Raithby welcomed the visitors and members and then six carols were sung. Mrs. Robert J. Phillips introduced the guest speaker of the afternoon, Pastor Patrick Ferrer of the Auburn Baptist Church. Mr. Ferrer gave an inspiring Christmas message basing his message on the Christmas story as it relates today to us all. He urged all to make this Christmas one that would stand for Christ. Mrs. Donald Haines thanked the speaker and on behalf of the members presented him with a gift. A duet — Star of the East, was sung by Mrs. Donald Haines and Mrs. Wes Bradnock accompanied by Mrs, Robert J. Phillips.
